        I'm planning a full-suspension redo with the tax return, and I'd be all over that.

        BTW - is it possible to build it off the car (with an extra pair of subframes) then just drop the old and mount the new? The car's my dd, and I don't want to lose it for a week or two since I'm basically replacing everything.

          why bother? main suspension parts are quick and easy.
          1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug
          1989 LN106 Hilux / 3.0TD SFA
          1974 2002tii / stock
          2002 IS300 / 5spd LSD

                i waited until my buddy's dad went to visit family and had full access to his shop/lift/tools. had that bitch done in two hours.

                  The job is doable in 2-3 days even with the bushings/mounts and all that? I want to replace basically everything that's unsprung weight.

                  Sounds easier than I thought.

                    i hear ya, i can allways goto my dads in sylmar, last time i did my springs took me all day, in and out. waste of time.

                    Same thing with my head gasket replacement last week. took the whole day when it should have been 4 hours tops.

                        2 days tops if your a hands on person..maybe even less for front its about 3-4 hours for control arms,CAB, tie rods, sway links, springs and shocks.

                        the rear is a little more tricky cause of subframe another 5-6 hours (also depending if you go to shop if you do oe bushings.) TAB,Sub frame bushings. diff bushing, flush brake sytem.

                        pretty easy just time consuming
