hmm alright thanks! im thinking about buying the set from harbor freight. anyone need a wheel bearing done too? perhaps we can all split the difference and get our bearings done for real cheap.

Yeah, that might work ok. The trouble is finding the right sizes of extractor and installer plates. I think you can get away with a 2-jaw puller, bearing splitter (borrow from kragen), and some all thread with various nuts and pipe caps.

this was like a 99-03 model , i read the newer ones have like a 60 hp gain. anyways im sure ill see this guy agian, he turned of into the street i live on haha

well it fooled me then. the v6 stangs kinda sound like 350z's v6. this was that non mistaken v8 rumble with straight pipes. Like i siad up there^^ , maybe this guy couldnt drive his car well or had the wrong gear. He started to gain in the 90's.
