The cops are really out in full force now. I got pulled over the other night for no front plate. 10 minutes later, I got pulled over again for the same damn thing! I don't know what's going on but it seems they are making it a point to increase traffic stops now. Maybe they figure if they stop us for one thing, they might find others to pile up on the ticket.

Speeding and modified exhaust ticket last month.
Speeding, modified exhaust, following too closely to another car, and expired insurance card (expired 5 days ago and I still haven't received another from Progressive) all on one ticket today.

Im Definitely driving slower to conserve gas, so speeding is at an all time low! I might trade out my euro plate just to be safe.

This is LAPD Harbor division. However, even LADOT parking enforcement will ticket you for no front plate and expired tags while parked. They lifted the car cover up partially on my white M3 to check my rear tags, in San Pedro.
4 of my cars didn't even come with front plates and when you go to get it, they issue you 2 new plates with new numbers and stickers for $19. The fix it ticket is $10 after correction BUT some places now charge (Sheriffs - $17) to inspect your car!
