how reliable are ebay reviews of a seller? I know a lot of online stores fake their own reviews leaving them as non-existent, yet happy customers. I'm about to drop a pretty penny on a 7d but I'm not sure if I should trust the seller.

I never trust egay with more than 200 bucks. I remember a story a guy payed 700$ for a PS3 & all he got was the box... Sad thing was that it was as advertised. So fail.

did ps3s ever retail for 700 bones? looool that blows. But as far as I know, the buyer can only leave a review once the transaction has ended, like payed/shipped/received, you know, as a means to keep the number of fake reviews down

Yea PS3s were going for dirty money, not like the 360s tho when they came out, I think the most expensive ps3 that I saw with bids was like 700...but anyway, as long as you pay with paypal I am sure you can always get your money back. Plus it is becoming harder and harder to scam people on ebay, I say go for it. How much cheaper is it than say amazon. Because I have noticed that a lot of times Amazon is cheaper than the ebay stores anyway and its faster shipping.
