Does anyone run a fire extinguisher in their car? To be honest I always thought it was a bit goofy and just a "because race car" kind of thing. Just seems like it would be cheap insurance, I was thinking about getting one and throwing it in my trunk or under my seat.

Exactly, imagine if your car burned down because of a stupid horn wire. I am sure most of us don't have full coverage so it would suck to lose it.

Curious as well, after a small electrical fire in a friends car, I have thought about but have not gotten an extinguisher for me and the GF.

Luckily we were in front of the house, so we hosed it off, but imagine if we were on the road.. The hood release cable melted so we couldn't pop the hood, scariest shit ever!
