260 from e30 and 250 from e36
the original 260 from my blue cabrio, shift smoothly no noise 155,000 miles

250 felt like it shifted smoothly before I pulled it out, everything else is in top condition too (was a dui impound), and has 163,000 miles on it.

I've been trying to get a couple hundred bucks out of either of them.

yeah, the 250 came from the donor car that I got my m50tu from.
it was an impound and I brought it home from the yard. I have the carfax on it and the history of the previous ownership (small town).
it was a girl driving it, she was 20 and sideswiped someone after drinking at a friends. her dad didn't want to bail her car out so it went to the yard and the owner told me to take it on our flatbed and take what we needed from it.

I was trying to sell the whole 5speed swap for $300 but I don't know if I'd have enough time to pull the lines for it. I can get the tranny, the driveshaft, and pull the 3.15 open diff out tonight and load it on the truck if someone wanted the swap.

that's with the guibo and shift linkage and shifter and the trans bracket. I can mail the pedals and lines later.

That's a fair price delivering it to someone down in LA/OC isn't it?

exhaust clearance? i always have a hard time when people talk about clearances because its easy to hang an exhaust low or have a bigger lip. + different people with different exhaust sizes/setups ect.. there needs to be a more universal way to measure. something that usually is not modified on the e30 so that it can be acurate :D

Some people just aren't attentive enough to drive a slammed car. If you pay attention and don't drive like a tool you should be ok. I plan on running a steel oil pan for retarded slammage.

Im fairly attentive but sometimes stuff sneaks up on you. The other day going to the mall I scraped a bit on the way up.. shocked me to all hell.

I thought I screwed up but it also scrapes on my stock 2011 C300.

Do agree, however I usually measure from the lowest point of the body...but Frame rails are about 6/7 inches Id say...oil pan before skit plate, 2.25 inches, skid plate 2 inches, exhaust hangs pretty low too, id say 4 inches
