i just dont get whats so wrong with the oe e30 switches that people feel the dying need to swap them out for the e36 ones.

Nothing's wrong with em. I just like the e36 ones better.

IMO the e36 switches are much easier to use, and the ladies don't have to put their full weight into pushing the damn things when they ride along. However I agree, they don't fit the look, especially when you bend the console all to hell.

BTW dude...dremel is your friend...and can be your foe if you are not careful. Maybe stick to pliers ;-)

Spencer, Go buy a dremel tool and do the job right. I have two that are in the junk pile getting thrown away that look better than that if you want one to try to do the job right.
