It was def the akg. The e28 motor mounts was the best thing I ever did for the car.

i absolutely loved the interior before and i don't think it was the akg mounts, but more the tranny mounts that caused most of the vibration. i'm not saying you're ruining the car, but if you intend to slowly put stock or equivalent stock parts back on then why not just get a stock e30 to build up. by all means do what you want, but it will suck when trying to resell for the amount you bought it for. i believe we are just trying to look after our fellow community members is all.

I was gonna sell but i changed my mind. I never expect to make money on cars. For me it's just a fun hobby.

yep, that is what is causing the vibrations.

I no longer have vibrations.

The polys would vibrate the car in neutral and when the clutch was engaged/disengaged. So far the transmission and engine feel really good. It would probably get smoother if i change these out but right now it's feeling exactly how I want it to.
even the PO told me that installing the AKGs was a mistake.

I really can't recommend anyone to use AKG over standard e28 for an engine swap. Even if it prevents the engine from shifting in the car I don't see it as a neccesary thing for a daily driven car.

I had AKG Mounts, they were amazing, sold em and they were still on the previous car

And I have to agree with Travis...

You sold the Big Brake Kit for IDK what reason...removed the poly mounts, and sold your rear seat...At the end of the day I have to agree that the car in my mind is moving away from a good e30, and I know your trying to get rid of your bumpers which also seems like a bad idea

Again its your car, do as you wish...but since your on a forum sharing your thoughts and ideas, your going to get people who disagree almost all the time...esp when your on a car enthusiast site where people go from stock to modified or at least OEM+ cars...not the other way around

I found a deal and i'm putting in
Suspension Technique E30 M3 springs

Those springs are meant for a 4 banger. They rake pretty hard on an m20. An s50 is going to be even lower in the front then your current setup and the ass will be up in the air. Go coilovers.

I sold the BBK because a friend of mine wanted to buy them off me and I really don't have a need for those. Since my friend is a track guy it would do him more good. The only good they were doing on my car was just for looks. Now, if I decided to buy 4x100 rims I dont have to worry about clearing my BBK. If I want another set I can go buy another set The brakes I have right now stop my car perfectly fine.

I have 2011 C300 with a tan Interior and I have a 2003 E320 with a gray interior, The last thing I want is yet another car with a light colored interior so I am changing my interior to black.

Last time I checked my car is so far from stock that only the actual shell is stock. Even if all the exterior bits are all from an e30 it's still highly modified.

The AKG removal was a personal choice and I love how my car feels versus with it on.

I want to change the bumpers because I really think that the late model front end looks awesome.

I would have bought a more stock looking car but at the time there was nothing that had all the requirements that I wanted. If I had the room I would buy two or three more late model e30's just to play around with but I don't.

I do appreciate all the good input I get from people on the forums thats why I still post and ask questions.

anybody close to Tustin area that has some spare 10,11,12,15 mm spacers I can test fit on my car tomorrow?just got another set wheels and don't feel to confident on the old string taped to the fender measurement.
