Back to black is for plastic, dont think that will work on paint. I would just take it off (two screws on the underside) and sand, prep and paint. If you want it to last maybe get it powdercoated because that thing will get beat fast because you are using all the time.

Or maybe junkyard and get new ones.

Here's my suggestion dude; lightly sand the pieces, spray them down with a can of adheasive spray, costs about $5.00 a pop. Primer and then use the flat black OEM trim paint. I did this to my handles 2 years ago and, my car is used daily., no chippin/crackin or peeleing.

What I use is a can of rustoleum truck bed liner. No sanding needed and it lasts

i used rustoleum semi gloss enamel for my door handles. I stripped them with air craft stripper and sanded. 3 coats and hit them up with a blow dryer. Its been almost a year and they look good.

Bumper Coating works great on everything btw, makes trim look like brand new

Bumper coating/Trim is best in my opinion too.
It goes on neat, won't make runs(unless you try to on purpose), and blends in together very very well. Even when it looks uneven, once dry it comes out as smooth as Nigel's head.

Hey guys, my exterior door handles are weather worn. Any tips for restoring? I was gonna sand them down and respray them matte black. Lemme know if there's another way

I already tried this thing called back to black but the finish of the door handle was screwed up and rough to begin with

Dude, I want in on this! I cant register my car because it wont pass smog.

Did a little polishing up in my car today. New switches, gauge placement and boot. I am fucking beat.

EDIT: Buttjuice did the dash swap for me, he is the man! No more fissures in the dash.

how is it no more smog? i thought the smog cutoff year was 75? or did you do it (smog) and your scotch free for another 2 years and you wanna brag about it?
