Anyone ever bought a car with only the bill of sale? I want to buy a manual e28, pull the 5 speed swap for my six and take a couple other parts and send the car to the yard. Will the yard take just a bill of sale?Last edited by JFarhanbod; 06-10-2013, 11:36 AM.Comment

Think your better off calling the yard to find out. Are you looking to sell it to the yard or donate it? may have better luck donating it they may be more lenient on that kind of thing.Comment

A bill of sale can suffice where there is no title HOWEVER you should call the DMV and see if there are any tickets, unpaid registration, back dated fee's etc on the title. The bill of sale must be completed in full as well and you will need to pay a new title issue fee I recall it's liek 5-10$. Always call the DMV first before you step on to a land mine of hurt.

We are talking about this meet, not the ice cream meet. Although there will be ice cream there as well as a very cool car museum. It's a great family event so bring the kids.
