Nigel, is there a stamping on the springs that come on GE kits to identify spring rates?

Early kits had engraving on the bottom. Late kits have laser etching on the side.

I swapped it to a new one works fine during the day when its hot but in the night after leaving my gf house it works for a bit then just stops working.

i get that sometimes in my m3. its the brake light switch under the brake pedal. mine was replaced a couple years ago but occasionally does it so i haven't rushed to replace it.
