fML! Tried to do my steering guibo but I can't get the guibo to come out from in between the steering rack.
Been following this but my car doesn't have the big nut in the steering column.anyone have any input?
Its also a good thingthat I couldn't take it off because I can't find my cutting wheel

I mean I can't take it out in general. Like it moves up and down from the splines but that's its nothing more.

This. I would love to have a free $3000 to buy a commuter car so that I could bench the E36 while I try to fix it up.

It wouldn't be my car and I wouldn't be able to pick it. My dad said he would get an auto trans 4 door and I couldn't change anything or work on it. And it would his car after I got my BMW fixed. So I just convinced him to fix my BMW lol.

My parents won't lease or buy a new car. They refuse to have payments of any kind. They don't have any credit cards and only have to pay off our second house. There renting out our old house and that covers the payments on our new one lol.

I agree to a certain extent, but they're shoveling money. My parents would have looked at the bill, handed it back and told me that I should have bought a honda instead.

My parents are wonderful people, but even they knew trying to tell me what to do was pointless after a certain point in high school.

When I crashed my first e30 and spend a year in and out of court, all they told me was "You got yourself into this mess, you get yourself out." There is a lesson to learn in many decisions we make.

Off topic but are E30's getting to the point where... "too classic looking to be ticketed" ?

Case in point the past 6 months. My car is effing loud. It snarls, it pops, every downshift is accompanied with a throttle blip just for fun. But no problems with cops. Even when blatantly rev-matching just to catch almost red left turn light, nothing... and they saw everything. But on the other side of the spectrum... homie has E90, with lowering springs, 19 inch wheels, no exhaust.... 3 pullovers in 2 months.

I had to go threw a random police check point in Pomona one time in my royal blue 87 535is and i got out my reg,lic,ins papers and rolled up and the cop just looked at me and didn't ask for my paper work and said drive thru please your good. WTF ? was it the gray hair maybe?

Guys I have an e34 not an e30 lol I know I know it's wrong but I'll get another one soon. And I have no garage where I live it would sit on the street and I don't have many tools either. BTW I just got my first real job this month and I get my first paycheck next month.
