Sup, this morning, my son, Brian left for San Francisco to join the Tesla team. I wonder if having my mentor and partner working on BMW's leaving So Cal will change my addiction for these wonderful cars.

So, Im looking at places to live in LA and Im wondering how do you guys actually have garages or places to work on your cars and store all your parts???? Most of the spots Ive found dont have a garage. Do you guys rent a garage???

Need help !!
Theres a metal on metal noise coming from center-rear of my car. Not grinding but sounds almost like really intense rattle.

Some details:
happens when in gear accelerating/taking foot off pedal
haven't heard it coasting in neutral but sometime when i park i can rev it out in neutral and hear it for a little then it goes away


any ideas?

My old car developed a rattly noise and it never seemed to correlate with anything else, found that it was the heat-shield had warped slightly and vibrations were rattling against the cat/underside of the car, give that a look, maybe it.

Nigel/Edwin could better help you 2man, they live out west, i believe though culver city has places with garages/space, i generally stay out of the west side though so don't listen to me

I don't understand how people in California afford garages at all with the crazy high rent and low wages. I'm from Ohio and this shit is insane here.
