lol at y'all. Rob was the most recent person i seen in terms of driving lines and i'm comfortable with it. he appeared to have lots of driving hours and instructor hours at an actual race track. also, i've seen all of y'alls driving skills and as i mentioned, i'm comfortable with it, but just needs a lil more practice is all i'm saying.
race your cars in an actual track and you'll know what i mean. i took Nigel at an autocross track only and he thought he got it, but women like my exgf smoked him like whuuuuh lol
let me show you a video example of a man who has "canyon driving skills" (he owns a 500whp evo) versus a woman who actually has autocross/road racing skills (she owns a prelude type SH and a CRX):
car is CRX: pay close attention to the way the man steers and throttle control versus the way the woman steers and throttle control.

exhibit 2: (woman driver)
as you see, the woman has better steering control as she turns hella early and she has better throttle control especially after the apex that's why she won. the man understeered as he was using his cajones instead of his cerebro
i didn't say i'm the best, but i do know i'm a better driver than many of y'all especially with my setup which is unorthodox...? if you put me in your cars, then i'll smoke y'all in your own cars :) Nigel can attest to this as I smoked him in his own car at an autocross event haha :P
he had no experience then and i already had experience, so imagine now after all these years with how much experience i have lol. I'm sure Nigel is a waaay better driver now as he has more driving hours at autocross tracks and i can't wait to see how he does at the canyons

You guyz are hilarious, I can't believe we're arguing about who's a worst driver!
I just want to enjoy the drive, like I've told you guys before if you want to push your cars, go ahead of the pack so to NOT attract negative attention to the rest of the group.
I'm on still on stock suspension and get some bad understeering when turning hard, so I won't be able to join the pros.
I say we allow the new guy in (autobo Lazi) he couldn't be any worst than most of us on stock suspension.

^^^i'm with WS e30 trece on this one :)
if you would like to learn more about how to handle your car on the canyons, then please come talk to me as I can teach y'all how to handle your e30s. I have taught many people on how to race their cars in different race tracks using different cars and it is 'cuz I have had enough experience and driving hours at actual race tracks (Willow Springs International Raceway is one of them).
To be honest with you, the only person I am comfortable going fast on the canyons would be Rob as I have seen his lines and he actually knows how to heel-and-toe/rev match upon entering the turn and modulating the gas during and after the apex. There are other people that I am comfortable with, but may need a little bit more practice especially after seeing their lines.
Basically, turn early because the goal is less steering especially during the turns. Brake early and do not brake during the turn as that can cause you to under-steer. Make sure you got good tires if you decide to turn quicker than the suggested turning limit (mph), otherwise, follow the limit when turning into the apex and accelerate your way out of the apex.
