      Try Pick n pull, or 2002 Salvage in Hayward. It's about 30 mins from SF, drive over the bay bridge, and just head down south on 880.

            I went there

            Two weeks ago. They don't let you look at the cars. So if you buy a
            part, it's whatever they pick. Unless I misundertood when
            the guys up front said I couldn't look at the cars because of insurance
            reasons. They seem to focus on telephone sales
            and were wrapping up parts for shipping, like transmissions etc.
            Priced a used GM transmission for my 530i at $700. But I didn't
            want to play that lottery.
