I want to replace a lot, but something that will be able to take daily driving with out too many problems. Maybe around 300hp, and as simple as it gets. I don't want anything nuts. Should I do turbo build first or coil overs first?
wait are we talking about the short shifter or the lsd?

I would say do full coilovers first. Go with Ground Control because its a legit setup and you can set your spring rate on a proven setup. It would be a great addition to your e30 as is.

you could either buy the kit already put together or pieced together with the GC conversion kit.

i say do the 3.73, short shifter, and coilovers

i think after that your e30 will be setup for power...suspension/rebuild/seats/bars etc. what else is left but brake upgrade with more power?

Yeah I was coil overs terribly, just have to save the dough.

I have nice rotors, just need new pads... But I wouldn't mind a nice BBK haha, and as far as shifter goes I just need something shorter. I'll be buying it either this weekend or next week some time. I want to find a brand new one online with all the bushings I need. If anyone knows of something please link it here.

REV is awesome by the way, you guys have helped me so much with parts and learning how my car works. If I didn't have REV I wouldn't know wtf half the crap on my car is. I'm talking to einstien about my build, so we will see where that goes.

talk to nigel about coilover, turbo and bbk. he's got it all.

i would recommend NOT buying BMA's shift kit - waste of money. nearly 100 bones and doesn't include the main two you need (rear carrier bushing and front t-joint bushing). a good bushing rebuild is around $120-130 with short shift, and a thorough one is maybe 40-50 more for allll the bushings.

I want something that is short, as in low into the center console. Mine sticks up super far right now, but I also want something that is wayyy shorter then stock. Just something sportier and faster.

            What about something like this?

              still no rear carrier bushing.

just get an oem lever (comes with a new selector bushing installed) for around $65-70 and the other main items separately. at least that's how i'd do it after dumping $95 to bma and still had to buy the joint and carrier.

this thread has TONS of info on different oem shifters. your desired combo is probably somewhere in there.

best thing you can do is basically what everyone is telling you ground control coils(proven rates and not china), 3.73lsd , then turbo. dont cheap out on ecu do it right the first time.. talk to blueapplesoda he knows his stuff.

Yeah, I'll definitely do coilovers first before turbo, just to get the right feel and stance. Thanks

I'll just go lower ratio when I do a turbo, which won't be for awhile. Just going to save for coil overs first like everyone is telling me haha.
