Need a stock 325 ECU for testing

does anyone have a known good ecu that will run an M20B25 from an '87 325i?

need to beg or borrow (but not steal) one to verify that this is indeed the issue with my swap

I can pickup in the SoCal area...feel free to PM me or respond on this thread.

you can also email me at citytireinfo@aim.com

    Thanks guys!

An 87 should have come with a 153. 173 works fine and the 525I ecu (don't remember the #) should work too.

hey guys. I'm more than open to trying the other ecu's out and then purchasing them if it works. But i want to go ahead and check the main relays one more time before i commit to purchasing a new ecu. After talking to Joey yesterday a little bit, We were able to determine that there might be a couple other things to check first. If anyone wants to come down and help out with the car this evening, I can provide frosty beverages :drink:

            Thanks guys.

email me at citytireinfo@aim.com or on aim at citytireinfo if you want to come by
