I have a spare 325e head. Came off a running motor, no overheating or anything.

I've decided to share my anger with the rest of you.

I offered the OP a complete cylinder head off of a running engine for $60 cash. Yes, $60. They charge $70-$100 for these at the yards and not only do you have to remove them yourself, you don't have somebody guaranteeing you it came from a good running engine.

He texted me tonight asking if I can meet him halfway. This thing is fucking $60. I'd rather throw the head in my shed and keep it.

Hopefully the head from hotballs works out!

PS: It's a 45 mile drive from Chino Hills to La Crescenta. This is not far. Hell, I've driven to Chino Hills just for dinner more than once.

Lucky for me you don't decide what threads I post in. It's actually the other way around.

                    Thanks for your feedback!

I'd rather buy a head that was in a running car than take my chances at the yard. I only meet people half way if they put in a bit extra for gas. unless, it's one of the neighboring cities.

My boss has a rebuilt head ready to go for 400.00 bucks. Valve job, new stem seals, valves seated, pressure tested, resurfaced with rockers/springs/camshaft complete. It is for a 325e/es.
