CL M3...what do you guys think?

Just wondering. I feel like his price is extremely high, mainly because of the respray. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/2900552257.html
No records, oil leaks, damaged front bumper, respray is gonna suck, seems good otherwise. The Schwartz thing kinda annoyed me too.

    -------------------------------------

1990 E30 M3 Diamond Schwartz on black.... previous owner painted it Macco silver...

224k original miles. I am the 2nd owner, clean title, pink in hand, passes smog. No rust, CA car. Clean carfax. Car has never been a smokers car. No drama. No wheel shakes, No steering vibrations, she tracks straight, handling is sharp. Seats have seen better days. No mods beyond dinan springs and shocks, even has original tool set in the back, and complete set of stock rims. This baby was never abused. I've been daily driving last two years. Sorry records from PO were stolen, was serviced in a well know shop in San Ramon area, they still have records on file.

Work within last 20k: Control arms, bushings, front bearings, alternator, h4 hella sealed beam replacement upgrade, brakes, bearings, brake fluid, front calipers seals, shift linkages, clutch, header bolts replaced, belts, plugs, front tires, alignment. AC needs freon.

Previous owner dented oil cooler and damaged front bumper in parking lot mishap, center support was not affected. Front bumper not perfect but can be repaired easily, the dash I replaced has a crack. Fogs lights missing. Front right side indicator missing. Standard oil leaks. Needs sunroof gasket. Driver side interior door handle needs to be replaced (I have parts). All vin #s match on all panels and engine block, no bondo.

I also have complete set of matching (or staggered) E36 LTW rims with good tires that I can sell with the car.

I am looking to sell out right no trades. Low balls will be ignored.

I am an e30 enthusiast and I've owned other special cars before, please don't waste my time. Plus I am busy so please be patient if I don't get back to you right away.

This is a daily driver condition car that is an EXCELLENT candidate for somebody interested in restoring.

The first car I ever rode in was an e30

15,000.00 isn't a horrible price but I feel it would be more appropriate around 12-13,000.00 considering you have no idea where the leaks are coming from. Could be $$$ or $ to fix situation. Not to mention to front bumper damage and respray.

that leak sounds scary, A LOT of miles on that s14, if you can afford to drop serious coin into go ahead, but it looks like it would be a project, needs some things addressed, and again, the s14 is a money pit(but worth every penny when done right)

I feel the same about a high mileage rare motor.

I also think $15k is a crackhead's pipe dream. With the miles, color change and the leak, I would be NO MORE than $10k. He will be lucky if he even gets that.

Owner is a litterbug, throws his coffee cup on the ground, then proceeds to take pics of the evidence!

It actually sounds like it can be saved, but that price is pretty high. $400 paint job on a classic, haha. The materials to paint my car was more than some would pay for an e30...
