Body work and automotive painting is something that requires time and patience for the best results possible. "You cant rush perfection"

So easiest is to get a can of premixed paint in an aerosol can that they claim is the same factory color. Then use a scuff pad on the area that will be painted. Soap and water afterwards and then dry with lint free cloth. Then use Acetone over the same area. Dry that area. Tack Cloth. Mask surrounding areas. Then spray to your hearts content. Wait for it to flash and spray another coat. Then let it dry and cure in an area that is not under lots of particulant matter. Shoot some Clear in a Can that can be mixed by the same place that put the paint in the can. Spray a medium coat. Let it flash and then spray another coat. Let it dry and cure for 2 weeks . Then compound and polish.

That is actually the easiest if you can believe it. Color will not be spot on but you want the easiest. Right?
Pretty interesting. Thanks for the explanation.

Let me rephrase the question: Oliver said red is the toughest, so what's the easiest color to paint match so a detailer like me won't complain about the color difference?

there are 100s of shades of white. heck my bumpers dont match the body, just bc they are plastic underneath. just glad it's not pear-metallic white. i doubt there is a harder color to color match
