This is correct, as it should be. There is a separation of church and state in the US. That is what the country was founded upon and that is what should control the governing of our laws.

I wasn't saying anything besides that I hate listenning to people's opinions. They're usually crappy. I want facts; nothing more. Give me facts and I can form my own thoughts on the issue

That being said; these current generations are horrible examples of a legitimate lasting marriage. Frankly churches these days are horrible gauges of how religion should be. I descent from both ideas and live my life as biblically dictated. I don't need the State or the Insitution to tell me what marriage an religion is: it's clearly laid out in the Bible and is left for my personal biblical interpretation

That being said, you also just can't pick and choose the passages you want to apply to your own personal agenda. You can quote a passage that "proves" hypocrisy of Christianity? That's cute
I can introduce you to plenty of people who live life disciply under biblical precedent. Verses must be applied in the whole context of the whole book, not just one area.

Most people don't realize this, but you can be religious and have a "strong" mind
