All right, I know I’m tap dancing in a mine field here, but I gotta throw this out there. Not asking anyone to justify the way they live, what they believe, or how they conduct themselves. Just curious...
With all the heated debate on both sides of the gay marriage issue, it seems like the majority of those opposed base their feelings on the fact they believe it is morally wrong and against God’s will. But a lot of these people I see saying these things are divorced, are in relationships which lead me to believe they are participating in pre-marital sex, using birth control, working on the Sabbath, and any number of other things that would seem to me to fall in the same category. Seems pretty easy to apply a standard to someone else when you have no stake in living up to that standard yourself, but when it is a rule you have to follow, there is room for interpretation, or you just fall back on, “The Devil made me do it” ask forgiveness, and you’re good to go (to repeat the same behavior). I certainly don’t claim to be perfect, and I make mistakes... but it seems to me that if you’re going to be so vocally opposed to something using religion as your moral compass, it would make your case a whole lot stronger if you actually walked the walk yourself.
Hope that didn’t come off too condescending or accusational. I really am curious how folks think on this.

Within the next few weeks, I'm saving a few dollars here and there to finally buy an iS lip to finally get the iS up to speed. I've been researching good paint shops, but nothing beats word of mouth
What I need:
Lachssilber (206) paint
Reasonable Price
Quality Paint
Just wondering if there is any word on the street about a good paint shop/specialist in Sacramento; not sure what I'll be spending on paint, but I figure $50-$100 is an expected budget.
I may even be up to paintscratching the code match and buying a spray. I'm not totally sure how well that paint matches though and not totally confident in how well it will hold, but I just need a Lachsilber that will hold for about a year or 2 until I can afford a professional respray
So I've just received a red light citation in the mail, for an absurd amount of $$. Interestingly, the photos they've attached show me a) behind the crosswalk line at a red light, and b) driving over the crosswalk line with a green light visible.
Is that enough to prove to them that their system sucks?
People talk about the bible all the time but half the time, they only pick a verse that they think is right.
I grew up all my life in an exclusive girl school run by nuns. The bible and its teachings where instilled in us but I saw flaws. I am my own person and I'm done following what others say is right or wrong.
I am spiritual and have my own personal relationship with God. I don't have to go to a place of worship filled with hatred and discrimination to talk to God.
I don't judge u for your own beliefs. I'm well aware of that. I respect your beliefs and refuse to go back and forth in a debate.
Life is happy. I refuse to dwell on negative things.

oh man. best of luck on fighting that BS. they outlawed them in Santa Clara county, bc they are so unfair.
Wasn't there a discussion on this a while ago and people basically said that 1) they're just worded like tickets to get money from you, and they're not really a citation since the registered owner is not responsible for moving violations, whoever's driving is and 2) you should take it, look at it, and run it through a shredder because shit gets lost in the mail every day.
