Packing up my apartment in San Jose. Got a new place in Emeryville. One of these:

It's on the peninsula right next to the marina. Pic above was while I was having a beer @ Chevys to celebrate; my apt faces south towards the Oakland docks, but I did still get one with a view :)



Facilities are kinda insane (to me); immediately downstairs from us is a pool/sauna/steam room, and there's a building called the Clipper that's basically a full health club.

Only downside; HOA disallows working on cars. Gonna have to find a shop I can trust.

Local guys. I have 4 e39 style 5's i need to sell, since i no longer have a use for them.
they are partially refinished. 3 bores are media blasted. and their barrels are refinished. 1 is full stock and untouched. $600 and ill deliver them today if you are w/in 30 miles of Campbell.

NIce! And nonsense! There are plenty of people/spots you can go in the area. I'm down for a little work day/bbq/drive that we can throw by my house in Alameda. it's in an hoa but they let me work on the cars in spots or whatever...i sorta just intimidated them into letting me work on my cars in front of our house

Anyone have a camshaft locking tool? Or a fan clutch removal tool I can borrow in the Hayward/Castro valley area? I need one by tomorrow. Willing to drive you lunch so i could swoop or something.

Nice shot! I was actually walking around there the other day, ran into this depressing guy:



'68 1600. Apparently the owner (the owner's brother was driving it just to work the fluids) bought it back in 71, got rear-ended badly, gave it to his daughter, who got in a whole bunch of accidents, and never bothered to fix it. Dude's San Leando local but is around Alameda/Bayfarm Island a lot. Poor thing was in pretty sorry shape
