and the torsion issue with verts is very noticeable with stiff springs

H&R race with Konis is really the way to go. Coilovers are pointless unless you spend BIG $$$$$ for double adjustable ones with remote reservoirs. The cheap ones allow you to make your car too low, and even lower still. You gain nothing over the H&Rs. Sure, you can get stiffer spring rates, but higher spring rates won't necessarily make the car stick better. Infact, it will likely tend to skip around and handle worse since it can't absorb an irregularity in the road, just plow over/through it upsetting the car in the process. The H&R route works very, very well. This is what I run as well and the car is impressively well planted. My next step is anti-sway bars with adjustable end links.

I have a set of fronts just sitting in my garage. They aren't perfect by any means, but the foam is still really good. PM me if you're interested.

You give away any moniez ? How many sightings ?

Oh, and very pleased with my Ground Control adjustable cool overs cut front struts and koni SA's

Next step for me is M3 adjustable sway bar end links as well. Already welded on the tabs when I shortened my housings. Just need to find a good source for that hardware.

It allows me to adjust for ride height and with my Konis dialed out it soaks up lots of road imperfections. It's got to be in dialed all the way soft "couch mode though. I run em stiff and still feel very planted. Of course long well groomed swoopers allow me to really fly through corners.
