So you guys remember that oil leak I've been having? Well I finally got my inspection plate off, and I found two oil pan bolts just chilling inside. I go to check the rest of the pan bolts that were under the inspection plate, and they aren't even finger tight. The oil pan gasket does appear to be less than perfect in the front, so I am thinking I should go ahead and replace it. What do you guys think?sigpicComment

You could try reinstalling the bolts and tightening everything down. Look at it this way, its the cheap and easy way to see if that solves the issue. If it doesn't, replace the gasket and try again. So you guys remember that oil leak I've been having? Well I finally got my inspection plate off, and I found two oil pan bolts just chilling inside. Gasket maker "the right stuff"! I would replace the gasket bc once it's all wet and dripping with oil it becomes like a cloth and sucks up oil from the inside if the oil pan and drips it to the outside of the car... Happened to me and no leaks when I replace gaskets with the gasket maker stuff. So you guys remember that oil leak I've been having?
