Sup guys. Pretty somber morning here. After 6 years of rowing, and two of those being at the Collegiate Division II Varsity Level
    - I think I'm calling quits, and pursuing a new direction in collegiate cycling next year.
I was feelin' sorta depressed but hey, more e30 time now!

road is mainly what my school has -it's club.
i feel that i've been prepared pretty well with 20+hrs/week with crew.
we've had quite a few crew team alumni cross over to cycling and dominate.
i ride (well i do when i don't have rowing) a lot, and used to race here and there in mtb events back when i was living in norcal.

i love cycling, it's truly a passion of mine, and it's something that definitely beats the god forsaken rowing machine.

that blinker looks cool. Agree with spenc on all at once.
I made a 3rd tail light blinker (looks like formula one).
So when you step on brake it blinks 8 times then holds steady.
Resets each time you step on the brake, it's dope. Grabs mad attention for people to stop behind you. If I had enough intrest I'd make and sell them.

The racing in the WCCC is VERY good. Someone (as in team) from the WCCC has claimed National Champion quite a few times since I started following it in '96 (my freshman year). I qualified to go to mtb national championships 3 times, went once, and metaled (aka, got lucky that UNR tried to hold Nationals in Tahoe in December. Needless to say it snowed and they had to move to an alternate location on the east side of Reno. The course was more or less a dirt crit. The field was divided to get everyone on the course. I ended up in the second group. I could have won my group had I known the guys in front of me were in first and second place.) I also qualified for road nationals a couple times but never got to go (I was a one person team and paid for everything out of pocket. I flat out couldn't afford the entry fee, plane ticket or the motel room.
            :( )

Collegiate racing is a ton of fun and a fantastic place to learn. Since there are no rules stating that you can't race As as a cat 4, if you are fast enough, and you are a glutton for punishment, do it. Even as a B rider, you still get a pretty varied amount of talent. Good luck and have fun.

Well my four door failed smog this time around. What are your guy's thoughts with these numbers. First test was done with almost half tank of 91, car driven for like 20-25 min on hwy. This time was about quarter tank of 91 and 20-30 min high rpm city driving.

The tech said that it is probably due to a misfire, which I was certainly having problems with before I smogged the first time, but not anymore as far as I know.

Marco you may need to contact Greg to get your AFM fixed. or you may have a bad ground.

that would be dope to have normal blinkers up there, but when you wanna go crazy have a seizure switch/button in the dash that would make them both go insane.

Not really. Its either one way or the other because of the connections involved. Although since I can adjust the rate of sequencing. I could always adjust it all the way up and all the LED's would turn on and stay on while the turn signals were on. That's more like a running light that would be activated by the turn signal though and probably not the desired outcome.

                  - Thrizz -Post up the third brake light that you developed! Would like to see the concept.

I will try and do this asap.

I also would like to add the car pretty much sat for the last 2-3 months, driven twice a mile or two, and when I went to drive it this time the car was nearly empty on fuel, so I added two gallons of fresh 91. I read high NOx may be due to old/sitting fuel.

I was thinking maybe filling the tank up with 5-7 gallons and then doing a little hwy run to get everything nice and hot then going to smog it.

Would this be a bad idea?
