Baye30 has been gone since 2009. Norcale30 took it's place for a few years until it got hacked. We have been without a bay area forum for at least a year. It was pretty sick in it's hayday though.

BAR offers repair assistance if your car doesnt pass smog and your low income.
the way they base if your low income is your household income, i live at home with my parents.
so because my parents make 200k+ a year, i cant get the government to help me out to pass smog, because they probably figure my parents should pay for it, which they wont. they wont pay for my shit.

so based of some stupid government assumptions i cant get financial help with my e21 that has a bad cat, but some irresponsible tweaker living on there own in low income housing can be helped right away. lovely place we live.
