/facepalm.
you know if you AAA'ed it to me 2 years ago you would have a great running car now?
send me your car and i'll have it running well.
switching heads isnt gonna make your car run, swapping engines is way beyond your price. - if you are complaining about a $200 car for the e21.Last edited by Cabriolet; 08-19-2013, 07:39 AM.Comment

So the M3 did its first evil PITA thing last night on my way home from Laguna Seca. It tossed the circlip that holds the shift selector rod to the internal selector rod in the transmission leaving me stuck in 4th gear... In the dark. I managed to get it fixed eventually, but what a PITA to do in a dark parking lot with nothing more than a scissors jack and a flashlight. I even had a circlip that appears to have worked. Still, I'd rather not do that again. Anyone have a good fix for that?

The first thing that happened yesterday when I parked was I had multiple people taking pictures of the car and asking me if it was for sale. A Supra while cool and sometimes fast won't garner attention like the M3 can.
Will, if you get the UUC EVO3 kit that will fix it. or you can order new ones from pelican and then i just wire brush the selector clean and news ones lock better.
