M3 I mix 2 quarts of Mobil 1 synth in with castrol

Liqui moly recommended 0w-40 for M engines?

Fahey reccomends Kendall 20-50 GT1.. But it doesn't get that hot over here so I'm contemplating a switch back to a 40wt synthetic. Probably just going to go with Kendall again..

My old mechanic that only works on BMW and restores old porches recommended what I do. He has been fixing these cars for 20+ years. And he ripped into mine and said it was one of the cleanest engines he has seen. Meaning in the piston area

Yikes I wouldn't run 0-40 in any M engine.... Total makes a 10-50 that I really like.
