Or does every e30 smell exactly the same? Ever since i could remember being a kid playing in my moms and dads e30s they smelled exactly the same as the 2 I've owned.

Anyone else agree?

Or am i just high?

Nope, I have two and both smell different

all 4/5 of my cars have smelled different
vert smelled like fresh leather
the M3 and my 325es smelled the same
my 4dr has a paint smell since it's not really done
and my 325e smells like burnt oil and a bit musty

should be fine. i recently drove an e30 hard with 5mm spacers on stock bolts. it did seem like they didnt go in as far as im comfy with, but nothing happened.

My friends and I have always just referred to it as the "e30 smell"

E46 has a very distinctive smell too. Likely others do as well but I haven't owned any of em or grew up with em.

For you 24v swappers, might be kind of one of you to answer my question.

0n the s52 head, there is a coolant port and sensor plugged in. If u deleted the small coolant port on the T-pipe (replaces the spider hose), what do u do with the small coolant port in the head?

Do i leave the old sensor and replace coolant port with the E30 sensor or do i replace the the old sensor and leave the coolant port alone and just connect it to the T-pipe? (which unfortunately, i cut off already and is about to get welded shut)

Got some style 5s and painted them an almondy color... Very happy and finally stanced
