18-19 are the worst shit crap BS years of a dudes life.
every part of those years are an oxymoron.
you are expected to act like an adult but treated like a child.
you are poor but cant get work
in school that costs a lot but dont have money to pay for it.
you can smoke - who cares. but cant drink.
can get into the crappiest clubs but cant have fun inside.
list goes on and on.
but ends with cant go on a cruise w/o parent's sig. even tho you are over 18.
GL renting a car as well.

as an old person to a young person. since i was your age till now i've spent 4000 hours and $90,000 on cars. and have nothing to show for it. save your money and buy a house when you are my age. i had fun but regret the waste so so so much.

90k would be a good down payment on a house, but realistically you're really not that old Eric. You can still save money and buy yourself a house later. It's a lot of money but I think it's valuable to spend money on your hobbies as well as important stuff.

It's like that joke where a lady is criticizing a smoker and she adds up all the money he's spent on cigarettes (which I no longer smoke fwiw) and says he could have bought himself a Ferrari.

this is not uncommon on the S14 and S38s. i only had 2 out of spec. im not sure if they had ever been adjusted. 123k on my engine.
