              M3 rear backing plates are only $22 each new but you have to pull the hub to install it.

                yea looked it up on real oem, only problem is its 2 days out from my local dealer. my car has been on the lift since sunday, I replaced my wheel bearing but cant put anything on until I get that part

                  You can run one from a non-M but it won't fit quite right. If you bend it to clear the rotor it will work...

                  If you're in a rush that might be the best bet.

                        it has taken me 3 days to do an oil pan gasket (6 hours total) because I took the parts to work and washed them all to pretty much look brand new, even the oil pump.

                          yea, the future headache is not worth it, I just wanted to have my car done so I could go on a drive this weekend but I don't want to do it again
