Congrats on the M3. I'll give you $30 for the orange front turn signal repeaters on the bumpers.

Not much to tell
Saw an ad on Craigslist. Guy had it listed as a 1988 BMW, nothing more. No pictures, just a basic ad "I got this old BMW for sale, etc. Reminds me of my ex-wife, want it gone etc.". 152k miles, and a contact number (Landline anyone?). Thought it was fake at first, but the guy left a contact number so... Yolo. Ad was posted 20 hours after I called the guy to no response, so I left a message.
Called the guy, left a message, figured it could be a potential come up (seeing as how this ad is almost the same as the ad the guys had posted for the last 2 e30s I picked up: No pictures, no badge, just "Old 198x BMW" + milage + contact).
Gets back to me saying it's still for sale and he's free. Old dude, retired vet; probably 60+. Told him I was local(ish) and I wouldn't mind the drive out. Then I asked for pictures and saw the flares
Ohhhhhhh boy
Next morning (this morning) I called up a buddy who came with me; decided to take his vert if I pitched for gas. Head on up to see it; arrived at the guys house and this guy was loaded. 4-5 2002s, parts cars, roundies; an old hot-rod truck, 3-4 Harleys, e30 m3 and 2 old VW wagons, trailer full of parts: guy recently divorced and was trying to downsize assets. Saw the car
Drove it
Bought it
Boom
Guy included a second set of m3 weaves (15x7 5x120) that I will be saving for the iS as first official 5 lug wheels, and a set of OZ Superlaggeras (17x8.5 I think) with some best dry-rotted Toyos
Guy said it's bee sitting for months if not years. Hasn't drive it since the divorse. (2 years+ or so)
Clear is beat to shreds and it definitely needs engine work, but overall it's solid and no rust anywhere.

I didn't even check
I've just been driving it home all day. I want to say Zinno, but some of the other panels look like Brilliantrot. Clear is completely faded, so it was hard to tell
