I'd like to think of myself as being in pretty good cardio shape, having been a 7 yr athlete, and I agree. Although tri bikes are pretty heavy :D.

maybe you've never had a real road bike. you cruise at 18mph. 35 is no sweat and can be maintained for 2miles. the 0-52mph was less than 1/3 mile. and no it was no kph, we dont use that on our speedos. i was side by side with my dad's 260z. i was ahead of him till 45, then he passed me and took off to 80mph+ i hit 52 tire blew. i walked home shaking. going down hill if you tuck and pedal i could get to 68mph. and it's not that hard when you can coast at 45mph.
also dont try and school me on bikes- raced cat2 downhill and 4x- cat 3 crtis for sjc sugar crm and expert in bmx

Well, obviously you were kidding and know I am not 16. Plus, who cares how people perceive me on the internet?
The last thing I see whenever you post is "cars beep boop". If I took that seriously I would think you're about 16-21. Or a really cool middle aged guy with an m30 e30. IdkComment

and a triathlon cycling distance 24.8 miles usually done at 19-22mph, endurance not a sprint. clearly not a 1/3 of a mile. i did this in less than a mile no need to save energy.Comment
