stalp. just stop talking. the Volt is 100% hybrid.
gas engine, charges batteries, electric motor drives car.
a normal prius is a partial hybrid. there is a huge difference.
the volt has a 38 mile electric range. the rest is generated buy it's gas engine.Comment

I want a (real) EV, but the only ones now are Chevy Spark, Fiat 500e, Nissan Leaf, I think theres a few others, and then there is the Tesla. The Tesla is in a league (and price range) of its own. All the other ones listed have less than 100mile range before needing a charge, while the Tesla will go anywhere between 200-300 miles, depending on your wallet. I wish I could own a Tesla, though Id probably get the Lotus based one even though it had some problems.Simon
