Hey guys, my e34 fucked me in the butt again. I need to go on a road trip to WA this Thursday, and something in my drivers seat died today.

I took the seat out and looked at everything. I found that the seat adjustment switch fried some how and one of the terminals has melted plastic around it. I went to Pick N Pull and grabbed another switch, plugged it in, and its a no go. All the fuses are good. Other front seat still works fine.

I dont have the time to fix it. I need a new seat ASAP!

Does anyone have an e34 seat (manual or electric) they can sell to me, or let me barrow. I'd put a safety deposit down and pay you some seat rental money if you have a spare you dont want to sell.

Sadly no. The e34 seats mount with two bolts in back and two of these bitchy hook things up front.

Miight be picking up an e34 for my dad. Are the auto transmissions in these any better than e30's? looking at a clean 1990 535i with 140k and all the service records.

It looks the same as when you sold it besides weaves, a little lower, and the recaros. I have been meaning to put the zender skirts and spoiler on it, but the screws are rusted and stripped. I will have to wait for summer to do it.
As for the cat, I have been trying to track down a rattle in the exhaust for months and I think it might be the problem. The car started running weird and making the noise about the time I left for SD. With school, work, and no room to work on cars it has been a nightmare having 2 e30's.
