Fix it properly, do it right. Once you pass BAR, chances are you will never fix the issue after.

It's those little details that set swaps apart.

it's just hard to break in an engine when your tags are expired. and then it can take weeks to iron out issues. and all those trips to the DMV suck.

So my car didnt start this morning, pretty sure due to the temperature. Going to try again after work.

Battery, starter, and alternator are new. Any suggestions on getting the car started on cold days?

How do I properly remove the trim-rings/bezels from Euro Smiley's?
I grabbed a nice set off an E34 (that just came off)...

but with these I'm having a little trouble. I just don't wanna break them or the lenses.

you arent getting enough current. you have parasitic drain or bad grounds. check the voltage and current with the car on and off.

The Euro lights have a little nub the ring hooks over.

But the story just keeps on getting worse. I bought this set of euro smileys and grilles off a well-known vendor on this site from Europe.

The lights, which were described on the f/s thread as "8/10" were NOT at all as described.
Several adjusters are broken. Some bolts are missing ends. The insides of the lights are infested with bugs underneath the lenses, and in between the projectors.
Surfaces are corroded and also rusting. The grilles I am going to have to refinish - which is isn't a big deal.
Not to mention the pig-tails that were promised were forgotten, and I am still waiting on their arrival.

If I could go back, I would save my $250 dollars, and buy some DEPOs.

I was excited to buy these in time to have a more visible 600 mile drive home for Xmas break, but it's turning into a nightmare.

I'll be back on the 28th, I'm down after that
