That's what I was thinking. It basically seems to need everything remounted/adjusted, fully repainted, and a full driveline swap. Then it'll be a good car, 10k if done right, imo.

no it's another one. it's my friend's car. i wish i had the money right now and use that car for the swap.

snapped one of the studs right off on one of my headers :( That's the second stud that snapped soooo basically have one stud left to hookup to the midpipe.. Will have to do something about that =/

In other news, was helping out a buddy take out his auto tranny on his e36. Went pretty smoothly, and got some good progress. He's replacing the HG on his s50 and doing the 5-spd swap at the same time :up:..

you can drill that out. harbor freight has an extractor for that that i've used before. it works as long as you drill slow for it to dig and hold.

So an e46 m3 vert raced me on the way home just now. I was telling my dad "look this guys gonna race me i can just tell" and he didn't believe me until the light turned green. We started off kinda slow then he took off and you can guess what happened next.

That was the biggest pain in the asshole taking apart my exhaust! Broke a stud on the header where the midpipe connects to, so spent all day today drilling out a hole to fit a nut/bolt in. once got that down, connected the header back on the engine, and took about an hour trying to maneuver the midpipe so it can clear the subframe (ghetto hammered exhaust ftl)..

Was so close to throwing in the white flag and posting the car for sale :/

just got my water pump and thermostat and fan shroud for le e21 in the mail from pelican parts.
will probably do it all tomorrow evening :D

Oh and I changed the oil in my dad's car. Took us like a fucking hour. I made the biggest mess on the driveway because my dad moved the catch pan thing and I opened the oil filter.
