I've driven a s38b38 e30m and that is the engine that it should have come with.

I got a ride to one of the Euro Sunday events in an e30 m3 with a fully built s38b38 oh lawd that thing could move. Half throttle felt like an m20 at Wot.

Here it is in all its glory.




Then I got a ride back in an EVO iii spec s14 e30 m3 a friend of the owners was driving and he absolutely hates the s14 and I guess some of that rubbed off on me too cause it was slow like stock m20 slow and didn't move below 3k.

Do the perfect factory rebuild, great. It's still slow.

but im gonna go hit up Josh this week and get under neath that car. his selector linkage is loose and i want to see why and get it fix.

my mk4 handled as well as my e30 on the KW v2s, still not fun to drive.
Branden's vet, turns like shit, but i loved every second in it.

vettes don't turn like shit, lol. power is fun but cars without power force you to drive with momentum... which is a powerless feeling (no pun intended) but can also be quite fun

I still have fun in my mom's Miata whenever I take it out every few years... God is it slow but balancing the thing with the brake/gas/throttle is so much fun and feels so rewarding
