What's the difference in fitment between your m3 5lug and a stock e30 4 lug? Your car definitely doesn't look like 8.5 et3. I had 9" et10 and it was just about flush up front, maybe a slight amount of poke.

i was running 17x8.5 et3 on the six and rubbing, took the front spacers out and am much happier with the ride and not-hitting-wheel-wells-while-turning and not-grinding-the-sidewalls-on-compression.

I never had the front rub, Not even goin hard in the mountains. The rear however rubs rim. But my e30 is not even close to being a DD, that's what the suby is for.

Im over the slammed scene.. It was cool while it lasted, but it really was the biggest inconvenience to take another route just because I couldnt clear a little bump, or having to park on the street because I couldnt clear a damn driveway lol.. I'm currently bottomed out on my coilovers on the e30 in the front, and even if I had more room, id probably just go another 1/2" lower up front.. Having a functional car is pretty cool if you ask me (says the one with no heater/defroster/ac/cruise :rofl:)

This is the lowest I sat my e36, and just this was a bish to drive places. Idk how ppl have the patience to drive any lower

If the car has been lowered to the point that geometry is F-ed up, what's the point of having a BMW. just get a mk4 gti then. lowering a without shortening the sway bar links, making it so low you cant turn the wheel and making it so stiff the chassis is flexing - all just make me sick.

Hence why im over that scene ;).. I dont plan on doing anything like that to my e30 thankfully. And for the record, the drop on my e36 didnt stop me from ripping through the gears and flying through turns lol.. The moment I got my e30, I fancied the meaty tire and not-so-stupid-low look. Still have yet to achieve what I want.
