Damn, this would be a bad ass job for anyone near the Mountain View area. I considered sending in my resume on account that I can sell ice to an Eskimo at a high price and get him twice, but it's just too far of a commute for me. Hell, it would be worth a shot sending in a resume if anyone's interested or looking for work.

Saw a late model AWII 318i white at SJSU, you were following me down on 10th and threw the peace sign. Cool car, awesome specialized plate.

Also, I wanna get a comparable condition e30 coupe trade for my Cabrio..maybe..

Meh...fun isn't necessarily measured in how fast you can go around a track. And with proper reinforcements and a good engine, IMO a coupe may not be all that much faster than a cab.

Of course if you want to heavily do track/autocross time then a coupe is a better choice.

              Vivek,

I miss my old 325i, it's definitely faster than my cabrio. But my cabrio is definitely a hassle free, turn key E30. My trade idea was just a thought, only if someone is really interested though and has to have the "criteria of a equal trade" that I'm looking for, then I would trade it. I'm actually gonna rack up some miles on it this week since the weather is gonna be super nice. I haven't really driven it for the past 3 weeks since it's my "sunday" warrior.

Of course a 325i will feel much faster than a 318i vert. But I'm not sure if you'd get any more enjoyment out of a 318is vs 318ic or a 325is vs 325ic.

having a roof is better plain and simple.
i dont like coupes/4doors more because they weigh less and whatnot, but that is a plus.
only way i'd ever own a cabrio is if it was a super bad ass drift car with a gnarly roll cage.

first of all its the way it was suppose to be, cars were first invented with a roof.

but additionally its more quiet, more rigid, safer, more of a piece of mind for your safety, more outside weather resistant, more secure from thieves, and not to mention all the performance/weight pros.

never have i ever been driving in a car and desired it to not have a roof, lol.
