VC 21461(a) Failure to obey traffic sign.

There's a "No (right) turn on red" sign at the entry of my school parking lot. It was safe, no one was around so I went to be on time. Fucker was sitting in the parking lot hiding like it was a game. Detained me for 30 minutes, car searched, I told him to get on, I have shit to do. GREAT morning!

I'm down for Sonoma Drift today though!

what a fucker. I hate those signs. There's one in cotati and the dumb thing is, is that a new lane starts for you when you turn right, stupid ass traffic people. They don't even have engineering degrees but yet setup traffic lanes and how it should flow, so dumb. I guess you don't need engineering but should know about traffic which it seems like most don't.

Depends on what yer paying for the block... Rebuild can be very pricey, the head is also pricey. But if you want guaranteed healthy strong motor, rebuild is the way to go! I have an m50 with a blown headgasket I would sell cheap if you want to get into a rebuild.

What exactly is wrong with it (other than a blown head gasket of course)? If it didn't overheat and has good compression there's no real reason for a rebuild in my eyes. I'm basically getting the engine minus head, intake, and accessories for $110 delivered, along with a windscreen that's worth around 75 bucks. So I'd say I'm paying like $25 for it at the end of the day.

How much would you sell either your m50 with the blown HG, or would you be willing to sell just the head if it's in good condition? It's an m50tu, right?

I cant say, it has to go to a machine shop to be checked. I'm not going to tear the motor down at all, I have s50 waiting to be torn down. Probably let the m50 go cheap, it's a short block, just head to block, no oil pan. Thinkin like $200 picked up.

How much for just the head? I'll come pull it and set it on a glass table or similar, and if it seems decently flat with no screwed up valves I'd take it.

I don't think you own the proper vanos tools to pull the head. If the head is good I will probably end up selling it for $200 alone.

Damn. Okay yeah I haven't thought too much about it. I need to pay for Borbets and tires before I even start on the m50, so i'll have to wait a bit either way.
