for the price, you really can't beat a set of redrilled e38 weaves.
good offset, they are *light* even compared to most "tuner" wheels, they have a look that "belongs" on an e30, and most importantly, they are not shitty mainland-China-made knockoffs like Rota/ESM/list-continues.
and i have 4 for sale... could drop off tonight...
wasn't there that guy.. local dude running powdercoating biz with his brother? pretty decent quality, good prices? remind me of that guy's name, I might have bought something..

Welcome KG
Davis is a cool area, e30s definitely fit in there. I like visiting a friend there from time to time as our schedules allow. As far as local meets go, there are big Euro meets going on in Sac from time to time, but I prefer the e30 only meets of the Bay Area/San Jose. They're a little further, but they are usually of higher quality (no burnouts, revving, "I put down 500HP in my stock Automatic e46", etc.)
As far as hiring; Danny (one of the Mods here) has expressed his company (IMBM) is hiring, but he's a little ways off from Davis.
