No e30s on the road because they're all curbstoned :)

Well took my car to the smog center. It failed the evap. Its on the rollers right now.

After everything they show me a sign that says only free retest if repairs are done there.

          I feel dumb.

            is that the exact wording?

if so, fix it yourself in their parking lot and demand a retest.

Yes that is exact wording. I asked him how we can test what is leaking, and he told me to do a smoke test in the evap myself. I was totally confused because I was trying to get them to test it, but he told me to.

He said the gas cap is fine and the cannister seemed fine, so that means it has to be a fuel line leak somewhere right?

 dude I did that thing and screenshotted all the e30s i could find. Saved a shit ton on insurance too. Even though I'm 16 I only made my parents insurance go up by like 50% (went from 2 to 3 drivers).
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

anyone have a suggestion on what I should do to prep a e36 steering rack? Of course I'm going to clean it but the shit that came out of it was straight black and not red. Should I just pour some fluid in it and move it back and forth till it looks clean inside? also found rebuild perfect drive shaft for my E with replaceable u-joints YAY
