Thing is, the amp that is powering my sub is near the middle of the trunk and makes a little contact with the water when the trunk does leak :(.

The little flap for the top compartment gets wet. The trunk did too. Havent checked it though

It's pretty crazy. I just got back home and while driving, I could see the lightning and looks like its striking somewhere. Im used to it though. Saw it pretty often growing up.

Anyone have methods to prevent leaky trunks? My e21 and my e30 both leak it's so annoying.

Have you been able to determine where its leaking from? Antenna grommet, sunroof drains, tail light gaskets, trunk seal? Mine leaks from the trunk spoiler holes.
