Meh. I respect the DB's and all their bulkiness.

Now we're getting into a gray area. I've only seen a handful of early model e30's that could pull off untucked DB's.Comment

I'm actually looking for a four door early model just for the hell of it. I do miss DB's though. Rear valences make all the difference on them.
tbruz, you wouldn't even need the extra bumpers, just replace the shocks. You can even pull out the shocks that you compressed and have untucked bumpers whenever you feel like changing it up.
I did mine the difficult way. I did it off the car, and compressed them all the way and couldn't pull them back out. In the end, it made it a pita to mount the front on. The back, we did it on the car. (So much easier)Comment

Yea it's zinno, but idk that car looks kinda beat lol..if I had black wheels id paint the bumpers black but I think it might look weird the way it is now.makes sense. go for it.

I think you're a little biased. ;) I would love your car. But I'm a tad biased towards Lachssilber. :)
Yeah, just make sure when you're drilling the shocks that you wear goggles and cover your nose and mouth. It will explode in a way, and it's pretty toxic. I remember a thread on tech about a guy having a really bad reaction to it and going to the emergency room because he ingested a little of it.Yea it's zinno, but idk that car looks kinda beat lol..if I had black wheels id paint the bumpers black but I think it might look weird the way it is now.
