Now we're getting into a gray area. I've only seen a handful of early model e30's that could pull off untucked DB's.

Lol well idk i think my car personally would look better if they were tucked, so im about to do it. I'll put before and after pics when I'm done, and plastic bumpers arent an option for me. I love the db's 😜

Dont swap. Sell the plastic ones you have (i think you have some) and save up a little extra for euros. They really are not all that much more then plastic bumpers.

People think their plastic bumpers are worth like 200 for everything. stupid people.

I'm actually looking for a four door early model just for the hell of it. I do miss DB's though. Rear valences make all the difference on them.

tbruz, you wouldn't even need the extra bumpers, just replace the shocks. You can even pull out the shocks that you compressed and have untucked bumpers whenever you feel like changing it up.

I did mine the difficult way. I did it off the car, and compressed them all the way and couldn't pull them back out. In the end, it made it a pita to mount the front on. The back, we did it on the car. (So much easier)

Yea it's zinno, but idk that car looks kinda beat lol..if I had black wheels id paint the bumpers black but I think it might look weird the way it is now.

Yeah, just make sure when you're drilling the shocks that you wear goggles and cover your nose and mouth. It will explode in a way, and it's pretty toxic. I remember a thread on tech about a guy having a really bad reaction to it and going to the emergency room because he ingested a little of it.
