PM Bernzpeed. Stock springs are usually super cheap, I've never seen them for $100+. To tell if your shocks are blown, push down rhythmically on the front or rear of the car a few times and let go. If it keeps bouncing then they're probably blown.The first car I ever rode in was an e30

im sitting on koni's and HR sports(coupe) on my vert, it's a perfect ride. had HR race on them and it was just too low and caused the body to flex too much.
vert springs are the same rate and "i" springs but 1/2" taller. unless you have a real mtech2 vert then those are M3 springs.Much wow
