Debating on just a hg or swap a diff motor in. This one has 250k+ miles, so maybe dropping a diff one in would be better.

Yea, bottoms prolly fine tho I would think? I'd just get a new head on there and replace all the seals, gaskets and possibly crank bearings.

I'm in a little situation here tho. I got a new head and none of the cam markings are lining up....to set timing right can I just put the first cylinder all the way up and put the exhaust valve at TDC on that cylinder and put the timing belt on? Would that be true to timing? I just wanna make sure I get this right te first time

As for the lachs. I need to get flywheel resurfaced, get clutch (already ordered), get flywheel bolts, drop motor in, smog, register. Tires (I want new wheels and tires, why spend money on tires for the caps when I am just going to get new ones).

picknpull m50. all the engines are the same price basically so you can get a m50 for the same as a m20.

of course a swap means more work and a bit more money, but isnt it worthi t in the end?

it would not be plug and play. the harness adapter may not work for the e30 model and year wiring its going in to.

This is tempting. But I don't think I want to get rid of the vert for this, even if it has the motor I'm planning on swapping.

Are his issues easily fixable? Mainly, the AC/heater deletes. I like those. :)
