the only time when the m20 is short on power is when i run with my s5x friends. but thats only for short bursts at a time. ive yet to max out the full potential of my car.

Nope.. my e30 doesn't run yet, all the coolant comes out of the front of the engine when you put some in. I think the water pump is just all grenaded on the inside.

It's also under a pile of neat parts at the moment :mrgreen:

Water pump asplodies shouldn't have any bearing (no pun intended) on whether coolant pours out of the front of the motor... everything hooked up?

I am amassing a little parts stockpile myself... mt2... motor... cams... E46 diff... hopefully trans soon...
