I supposedly deleted my linkedin a while back, when all their passwords got dumped and they were using shit encryption. I still get emails and requests to connect, though, so looks like they are continuing to suck...

yeah, i imagine they're using the facebook model... "we'll just mark your account dormant until you decide to come back."

yup, but most non-scummy companies wouldn't let recruiters email inactive accounts. although, from my experience with 3rd party recruiters, the whole industry is a bit rotten.

I don't know why, but I found this CL WTB post pretty funny. Anyone else ever sense an increased amount of pretentiousness from people who want a nice e30, but can't afford one?

my e30 used to be an Otto, but now it's a Manuelle. the reassignment surgery left some scars though, and people don't really treat it like one that was born a Manuelle.. I thought this was a tolerant state.

Anyone know of a professional fill and drill place here in Sac?

                            I don't want no crappy "looks-like-a-3rd-grader-filled-it-in-with-play-dough-and-macaroni" drilled

I'm talking like "completely filled in, flush, and looking like it came 4-lug STOCK" drilled

Or of anyone selling F+D'd e38 Weaves?

yeah, fully in agreement with everything here (and why i'm amenable to a change).

i appreciate having the job, beats not having one by a long shot, but something has come along where:

                              1. i hopefully get paid the same
                              2. local cost of living is *much* lower
                              the product is
3a. much less complex with fewer points of failure
3b. something i actually believe in

so yeah, "loyalty" would be a pretty silly concept for me to have in mind.

                              speaking of point 3b:
